Brucellosis Scheme
Where the owner has any reason to suspect that a herd may be infected with Brucellosis or has been in contact with infection or where an abortion or premature calving has occurred amongst cattle on any part of the premises on which the herd is normally kept, no animal shall be removed from the premises to the Showground.

SPECIAL AWARD
This Show is a qualifying Show for the prestigious Welsh Black Cattle Society’s ‘Bull & Female of the Year award’ Champion Bull, Champion Female and Reserve Bull and Female Champions.
The Farmers Union of Wales award of £500 - £150 is awarded to the owners of the Bull and Female who gain the highest aggregate points at the nominated shows, a further £60 to each reserve champion and £40 to each second reserve.
A Farmers Union of Wales ‘Inscribed Glass Trophy’ is awarded to the Best Welsh Black Bull that has not previously won this award in 2010. A Farmers Union of Wales ‘Inscribed Glass Trophy’ is awarded at this Show to the Best Welsh Black Female that has not previously won this award in 2010.

Conditions
1.The competition is administered by the Welsh Black Cattle Society.
2. All exhibits must be entered or accepted for entry in the Welsh Black Cattle Society Herd Book, Grading-up appendix or Polled register.
3. Animals must be exhibited by members of the Welsh Black Cattle Society.
4. No animal may win more than one Trophy in any show season.
5. Welsh Black Cattle Society Judges can only judge one qualifying show in any show season.
