PLEASE NOTE: Entry Forms may be left at Bys a Bawd, Denbigh Street , Llanrwst or sent by post to the Secretary by THURSDAY, 19th AUGUST, 2010 – no later than 11.45 a.m.
RHEOLAU / RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Closing date for all entries is Thursday, 13th August. All entry forms including childrens handicraft and homecraft must be left at Bys a Bawd, Llanrwst by that date, or sent by post to the Secretary. No entries taken after this date.
2. A free admission ticket will be sent to competitors with entry fees of £3.50 or more, PROVIDED THAT THE ENTRIES ARE RECEIVED BY THURSDAY, 13th AUGUST.
3. Dishes, plates, doilies etc. must be provided by the entrant.
4. Points will be awarded as follows: 1st: 3 points; 2nd: 2 points; 3rd: 1 point.
N.B. In the event of there being two equal 1sts, there will be no 2nd prize, the next prize being a third. 1st prizes will then be the 1st and 2nd prize-money added together and equally shared. Similarly if there are two equal 2nd, no 3rd prize will be awarded and the 2nd and 3rd prize-money will be added together and equally shared. If there are two equal 3rd, the prize-money will be equally divided.
In the event of there being a tie for points the winner will be the person gaining the most 1st prizes.
5. Competition cards will be obtainable at the secretary’s desk from 9 a.m. on the morning of the show, to accompany each exhibit.
6. Competitors shall be responsible for their exhibits being placed in the correct classes.
7. All exhibits should be staged by 10.20 a.m. so that the marquee can be cleared for judging to commence at 10.30 a.m.
8. No exhibits should be removed from the marquee before 4.30 p.m.
9. The committee will take all reasonable care of the exhibits but will not be liable or answerable for any loss or damage that may occur from any cause whatsoever.
10. The judges’ decision is final.
11. All competitors compete on the understanding that the work exhibited is their own bona fide creation and has not been previously shown.
12. Any prize-money may be with-held if the judges deem that the prize is not merited.
13. A competitor is allowed to have two entries in any one class.
14. All jars are to be of clear glass and free from trade marks.
15. In the case of disagreement the Chairperson or Secretary may be requested to call upon some members of the Committee to appoint a referee.
16. All prize-money will be paid out from 4.30 p.m. at the Homecraft desk on the day of the show on production of winning tickets.
17. All cups must be returned to the Nat West Bank, Llanrwst by the 16th July, 2009 .
18. The Special Awards will be presented in the marquee at 3 p.m.

There is no entry fee for any of children’s sections.
All the Children’s sections each entry name and address to be placed in an envelope, with age on the outside of the envelope
